Matthew Maran urban wildlife

Wildlife photographer Matthew Maran is on the look out for London wildlife. Here he is on Sunday taking photos of a busy couple of woodpeckers preparing their nest in Highbury.

If you see any unusual urban wildlife let him know so that he can record it for his latest project.

Craft Northern Ireland Making It

The second session for Craft Northern Ireland's Making It series is developing ranges and exploring markets. It follows up the initial business planning session which took place in January.

I will be joined by Matthew Maran wildlife photographer and we will outline how we have worked together since 2006 using the techniques described in the seminars. Matt's work has focused on Vancouver Island and culminated in a book published in 2011.

There are still places available to book and the session will take place at Down Arts Centre on 29th March so book and see you there.

The session on 14th June will feature guest, Holly Berry, weaver to share techniques used when working with me as her mentor on the Crafts Council Hothouse scheme.
